To belong in a group is one thing, to feel a sense of belonging is another.
I have figured out (and it is about time) that being sociable has nothing to do with the fact that you're hanging out with a really big grouup.
Actually, this revelation has hit me before, but often shrugged off.
Anyways, I have come to terms that sometimes, it is best to be left alone.
I do not like to be involved in too much politics, tension, backstabs etc etc
So I guess I have to stick it out for a few more months until U.K and then we will see how things go from there.
Do not get me wrong, I am very appreciative of my friends. I am not trying to belittle anyone.
Hanging out in a small group suffices I guess =)
I love looking back at successful friendships, where it is not a big group that I was a part of, but a smaller coven of friends that I can be comfortable with.
-Like the 7 of us.
-Like tuition classes where sour candy and some chocolate stuff were involved.
-Like the rides back on LRT both high school and post-high school.
-Like the days where we were part of SAND.
-Like the days where we would do absolutely nothing in Literature but peeling onions
You know who you are.
